  • binkp connection problem

    I have 3 hub I get mail from and 2 of them are polling fine. But this 3dr one phoenix.bnbbs.net:24555 is not connecting. This in on a new SBBS Linux/ubuntu setup. I am able to poll this site with Mystic in ubuntu and my Windows 11 setup also. I have reviewed the setup for this node over and over again and don't see anything wrong. Here's the error, anyone have an idea what's wrong? I have the domain setup with nodelists also.

    7/8 12:25:43 evnt BINKPOLL Connection to phoenix.bnbbs.net:24555 failed (Error: Name or service not known).

    What are you talking about? I have the same thing you do. If your talking about the :24555 I just added that so show that's the port he uses.

    talking about the :24555 I just added that so show that's the port he
    uses.

    Read it again, champ. Let's put the two addresses right on top of each other for you. The top one is what you wrote, the bottom one is what Wilfred wrote:

    phoenix.bnbbs.net:24555
    phoenix.bnbbbs.net:24555

    See the extra "B" in there now?
